Introduction to RC Flying

RC Flying is a Hobby Flying. There are no age bar for RC Flying(Exception:Small Children).RC Flying consists of flying models of Aircraft such as Helicopter, planes, gliders, etc with a controller.

What does RC stands for?
When such question arises, more than 50% people answer it Remote control.Even when i was a beginner,I had misconception that its Remote control. But in actual its Radio Control.
Similarly the term RC Flying states it as Radio Control Flying.

How Radio Control works?
All Radio controlled toys have following parts:
  • Transmitter:You hold transmitter in your hands which is inside the controller and control the toy.The transmitter sends Radio waves to the Receiver.
  • Receiver:An antenna and circuit board inside the toy receives the signal from the transmitter and activates motors inside the toy as commanded by the transmitter.
  • Motor
  • Power Source
The transmitter sends control signals to the receiver using radio waves which then drives the motor causing specified defined actions to occur which brings specific motion in the toy.
The Power source is a rechargeable battery or a normal battery.
